Hi, I’m Chloe.

Hi, I’m Chloe Sanderson, the photographer behind Captures by Chloe. I photograph weddings for couples who want to remember how their day felt, from the big, can’t-miss moments to the little ones they might not even notice at the time.

I started my photography career in 2021, training under photographer Hannah Davis at Wild Artistry. I photographed more than 700 clients there before starting Captures by Chloe. That experience taught me how to work with all kinds of people, think on my feet, and help someone feel comfortable in front of a camera.

My style has a nostalgic, slightly vintage feel, but the moments themselves are real. I’ll give you direction when you need it, especially during portraits, without making you hold a stiff pose for ages. I love movement, genuine smiles, and the unexpected interactions that make your wedding feel like yours.

On your wedding day, I want you to feel free to be there with your people. I’ll help things along when it’s useful, then step back and pay attention to what’s happening: the nervous excitement before the ceremony, the way you look at each other afterward, and all the joy in between.

I’m based in Johnson City, Tennessee, and photograph weddings in Knoxville and throughout East Tennessee. I’d love to hear what you’re planning.
